Five more cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Nodaway County over the weekend


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department confirmed five more cases of COVID-19 in the county over the weekend.

The Health Department says the latest patients are a girl in her teens, a woman in her 20s, a woman in her 40s, a man in his 40s, and a woman in her 60s.

Health officials say this now brings the total number of cases in the county up to 232. Of the 232, only 52 cases are currently active.

Overall, 11 individuals have been hospitalized and six have since been released. Officials continue to urge people to social distance when possible and practice good hygiene.
